Estonia has the most competitive tax system in the world. At least, that’s what the Tax Foundation says. For 7 consecutive years it reserves the first place in its ranking to this country. And the truth is that it is not for less.
If there is one country that can serve as a model for others, it is Estonia. The Baltic nation has shown that a strong welfare state is compatible with low taxes and economic growth. And all this starting from a really bad situation.
In 1991, Estonia was a new republic that had just separated from the Soviet Union. Its history could have been the same as that of Ukraine or Belarus.
